Legacy combos incorporate Neodymium woofers designed and manufactured by GK. Our speakers and cabinets are designed from the ground up to work together to deliver the best possible performance for bass guitar.

Die cast frames are used exclusively delivering greater durability and power handling than the cheaper and more common stamped frame designs.

Our voice coils utilize edge wound aluminum ribbon wire which compared to the more common round wire makes a speaker that is far more efficient with greater power handling.

A compression driver top end solution is far more complex than a simple piezo tweeter. Compression drivers require a real crossover and a system to protect the horn from excessive power bursts. Legacy combos use the same three pole crossover and fast acting protection system found in our Neo Cabinet line.
