BIO

British bass player Dayna Fisher was born & raised in South London, UK. With musician parents it was only a matter of time before he started to follow in their footsteps. At age, 11 he picked up the bass and started to learn, playing in church and for his dad’s Gospel Choir ‘IDMC’. Fast forward 17 years and he’s one of the most in-demand session bassists in the UK, working with artists such as; Gary Barlow, Jessie J, Jess Glynne, Dave, Robbie Williams, Zara Larsson, Five, Wizkid, FLO, Plan B, Samm Henshaw and many more!

In recent years, Dayna has stepped further into the spotlight as both a musical director and touring bassist, currently serving as MD for FIVE and Vibe Village, and touring internationally as the live bassist for Jess Glynne. His ability to balance musicality, leadership, and technical detail has made him a go-to figure for artists looking to elevate their live sound.

Rooted in gospel feel but fluent across R&B, pop, and modern alternative styles, Dayna is known for his distinctive tone and old-school feel with modern flair. Whether laying down foundational bass lines or sculpting arrangements his work reflects deep musical intuition shaped by decades of listening and learning.

Away from the stage, Dayna is a dedicated studio musician, known for delivering tasteful, reliable bass parts that elevate any track. Working from his own recording space in South London, he regularly collaborates with artists, producers, and MDs to lay down bass parts for hit records. Whether it’s a stripped back acoustic track or a fully produced R&B or pop record, Dayna brings the same deep groove and attention to tone that define his live playing.

A proud Gallien-Krueger artist, Dayna relies on GK amplification for its punch, clarity, and articulate low end; gear that mirrors the presence and definition of his playing in every setting.
