BIO

Robert Bubby Lewis began playing the bass at the age14 years old. His first time playing before an audience was at his father’s church in Flint, Michigan. It was during that performance that Robert realized how much he loved music and being a musician. Playing at church taught him the importance of music and musicianship. It wasn’t long before Robert felt ready to pursue a career as a professional musician. Since then, Robert has played and recorded bass for a number of music industry powerhouse artists including Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Lupe Fiasco, Tha Game, Kim Burrel, The Clarke Sisters, AI, Stevie Wonder and many more. Being a huge fan of Japanese anime, comic books, video games and all things nerdy, Robert has been blessed to create various music compositions for companies such as FUNimation Entertainment and Marvel Entertainment.

“Music is my life and I live my life through music. I want to evoke a visual experience of my journey and be an avenue for the world to communicate with me. I’ve always appreciated all genres and styles of music and I wantto break the boundaries of music stereotypes. I want my journey and my music to encourage people to never be afraid to take risks. Not matter what type of career or hobby you are in: business, art, cooking, fashion, whatever it may be; my hope is to encourage people to step outside of their comfort zone and explore new experiences. “ ~Robert Bubby Lewis
