BIO
Nicole Row is an American bassist and vocalist known for her dynamic performances and versatile musicianship. Born in Fresno, California, she began her musical journey at age 17, inspired by ska-punk band Sublime and their bassist Eric Wilson. After high school, Row moved to Los Angeles to study bass at the Musicians Institute, focusing on jazz and funk influences from artists like Larry Graham, Marcus Miller, and John Paul Jones.
Row's professional career gained momentum in 2017 when she toured with Miley Cyrus, performing on major platforms such as The Billboard Music Awards and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. She later joined Panic! at the Disco in 2018, where she played bass and provided backing vocals until the band's dissolution in 2023.
In March 2023, Row began touring with Incubus as a temporary replacement for bassist Ben Kenney, who was recovering from surgery. Her familiarity with the band's music and her engaging stage presence led to her becoming a full-time member in February 2024.
Beyond her touring work, Row has collaborated with artists like Troye Sivan, Daya, Fat Joe, Remy Ma, Ty Dolla $ign, Dallas Austin, Christina Perri, and Dua Lipa. She has also appeared on television shows including Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show, and The Voice.
When not on tour, Row enjoys hiking and camping along the West Coast with her rescue dog, Scout. She is also passionate about music education, sharing her knowledge and experience with aspiring musicians.
Row uses Gallien-Krueger’s Legacy 1200, NEO IV 410 and NEO IV 115 while on tour with Incubus.
